About Music Workshop’s Soundwaves Concert Series

Soundwaves Concerts expose students to the live concert experience while helping them make connections between music and life. Music is a tool that helps all of us – in good times and bad – connect with each other and ourselves.

Soundwaves concerts are live concerts that are recorded allowing students worldwide to experience these incredible artists. We are launching the series with 6 concerts performed last summer and are planning for another season beginning in the spring of 2023.

Click the link above to see one of the artists in our series, Thunderstorm Artis, a singer/songwriter from Hawaii who was a finalist on The Voice! Experience his amazing music and learn about how he uses music to improve and support his life.

Because of your support, our Soundwaves Concert Series, along with all of our K-8 music education resources, are free of charge to ALL teachers and students.

Music Workshop in our 10th Year

We deeply appreciate the foundations, donors and supporters that have partnered with us to bring inspirational, relevant and free music education resources to over 10,000 schools, reaching more than 4 million students in all 50 states and 94 countries. In 2022-23 we are celebrating 10 years since Music Workshop was launched by Amy (and Amy) around her kitchen table. We are so grateful to have become a changemaker in music education – thank you for being a part of our amazing musical journey!

Giving to Music Workshop

Please consider giving to Music Workshop to support the Soundwaves Concert Series specifically and also to help our students connection to school, the world and each other after the tumultuous last couple years. We have all heard of the academic and emotional gaps that our students have experienced as a result of the disruption of covid and remote learning. More than ever, our students need the connection, comfort and inspiration of music in their educational journeys. We consistently hear from our teachers that our program is a vital resource, helping to connect students to music, each other and our world.
